On April 1st, the former CEO & MD of Tata Motors and previously Chief Operating Officer of Airbus, Günter Butschek, will start as the new CEO at MOOVE GmbH in Aachen.
Known as a pioneer and designer, Günter Butschek will take up the challenges in the growth market of electric light commercial vehicles at MOOVE GmbH. The focus will initially be on the "Go Live" of the start-up in 2023 - from the development of the pre-series to series production, from the involvement of customers during development to delivery for real operation. In addition his focus will be the further strategic development of the product portfolio, business model and future partnerships, in accordance with the vision of a holistic ecosystems for sustainable last mile mobility solutions for freight and passenger transport with the declared goal of being a pioneer for autonomous driving.

The business administration graduate began his career in the 1980s at Mercedes-Benz. Various functional management positions were followed by stays abroad in various regions from 2000, like in charge of the Mercedes-Benz joint venture Beijing-Benz Automotive. After his role as Global Chief Operating Officer Airbus, Butschek was responsible for the Tata Motors' business in India and on the international markets of the Tata Motors brand. In addition to a successful turnaround/transformation process, the focus was on future orientation in terms of technologies, business models and partnerships.
